TALKIN' SPORTS REMOTE BROADCAST AT BROOKLYN BASEBALL
Thank you for coming out and doing a broadcast from our Brooklyn facility. In speaking with the two gentlemen, Jim "Mudcat" Grant and George "Shotgun" Shuba, they both said they had a great time in the studios and talking with both hosts of your shows.
Thanks! Randy Hauck Brooklyn Baseball Club
George "Shotgun" Shuba - Most ballplayers are remembered for clutch hits, spectacular catches or milestone home runs. Not George “Shotgun” Shuba. The former Brooklyn Dodger outfielder hit .259 with 24 career homers from 1948 to 1955, but it was a small gesture of human decency he expressed before his days in the Major Leagues that have made him a baseball icon of sorts.
Jim "Mudcat" Grant is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates from 1958 to 1971.
Jalal Leach, 15 years professional baseball experience (Yankees, Phillies, Giants, Expos, and Mariners), has recently retired from professional baseball to pursue a career mentoring youth in the game of baseball.
